Verified new GTA 6 animation clips from ex-Rockstar dev hit social media
Fresh GTA 6 footage is making the rounds online – and this time, it looks legit. A short demo reel on Vimeo belonging to former Rockstar animation artist Ben Chue has surfaced, featuring around 19 seconds of early animation tests for Grand Theft Auto 6. Chue is credited on Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5 and Max Payne 3, which lends extra weight to the material.

One clip shows a male character renting a bicycle from a public dock, riding it, then returning it, with highly detailed animation work on pedal motion, shifting weight and the wheel reacting as it’s pulled free. The footage also reveals the in-game bike rental brand LOMBikes, clearly riffing on real-world services like Lime. Another snippet shows a female character standing on the back of a truck before jumping down to the street, again highlighting Rockstar’s focus on grounded, realistic movement.

The reel has been widely reshared by GTA-focused accounts such as GTA 6 Info and Joker on X, while the original Vimeo upload remains online at the time of writing—though it could face a takedown request given it contains material from an unreleased title. Coming after multiple fake “leaks” and delays, even a few seconds of verified animation have been enough to reignite discussion around GTA 6’s level of polish and how far Rockstar is pushing realism in its long-awaited open-world sequel.
