GTA 6 Still Set for November 19, Says Tom Henderson — $80 Price Point Reportedly Locked In

The conversation around Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) has been dominated by two questions for months: Will it slip again? and How expensive will it be? A new update tied to industry reporter Tom Henderson aims to calm both worries at once—at least for now.

According to the latest claims shared by Henderson, Rockstar Games is not currently planning another delay for GTA 6. The game remains positioned for a November 19 release date on current-generation home consoles, following earlier postponements that already pushed the project further down the calendar.

Just as important, Henderson also pushes back on one of the loudest rumors circulating online: the idea that GTA 6 would launch at $100. He states that this pricing talk is not accurate, and that the game is instead expected to release at $80.

That distinction matters because GTA 6 is widely viewed as the biggest release of its era—possibly the defining launch of this console generation. Any shift in date or price can ripple across preorders, player expectations, and even how other publishers schedule their own blockbuster titles.

Of course, none of this replaces an official announcement. Rockstar has not issued a new statement confirming pricing, and release plans can still change behind the scenes. But as of this report, the message is straightforward: no new delay is expected, and the launch price should be $80—not $100.
