Lies of P 2 Could Be Called Wonders of O, New Trademark Filing Suggests

The next chapter of Lies of P may have already revealed its name, as a new trademark filing from Neowiz has sparked speculation about the title of the highly anticipated sequel.

On September 10, Neowiz reportedly filed a trademark for “Wonders of O”, leading fans to connect the name with the developer's next Lies of P project.

A Possible Connection to The Wizard of Oz

The theory becomes particularly interesting when looking back at the ending of the original Lies of P.

After the credits, the game featured a brief appearance by Dorothy, the protagonist of The Wizard of Oz. The scene immediately led to speculation that the next game could move beyond the world of Pinocchio and explore another classic story through the dark and twisted style established by Lies of P.

The newly filed Wonders of O trademark has now added more fuel to that theory.

Could Lies of P Reimagine Oz?

The original game became known for taking the familiar story of Pinocchio and transforming it into a dark action RPG filled with disturbing characters, challenging combat, and a grim interpretation of its source material.

A sequel inspired by The Wizard of Oz could follow a similar approach, potentially reimagining characters such as Dorothy and the inhabitants of Oz within the same dark universe.

The name “Wonders of O” itself has naturally strengthened the connection, although there is currently no confirmation that the trademark is actually related to Lies of P 2.

Nothing Official Yet

For now, Neowiz has not announced the official name of the sequel, meaning Wonders of O remains a possibility rather than confirmed information.

Still, the combination of the trademark filing and Dorothy's appearance at the end of the original game has given fans plenty of reason to believe that the next Lies of P adventure could take the series into a completely different yet equally recognizable fairy-tale world.

If the theory turns out to be correct, Lies of P could be building an interconnected universe based on classic stories—one where familiar tales receive a much darker and more mature interpretation.
