EA Sports FC 26 is nearly here, and recent leaks have shed light on just how much more storage space the game will need on different PlayStation platforms. According to data from a respected PlayStation file insider, the download size on PS5 will be around 81.273 GB, while the PS4 version clocks in at approximately 57.297 GB—a difference of about 24 GB. 

These numbers highlight what fans have come to expect from generational upgrades: better graphics, bigger textures, and more detailed assets that naturally consume more space. The 24-gigabyte gap suggests EA has invested heavily in enhancing visual fidelity and leveraging the hardware abilities of the PS5. 

Here are the release and preload details:

• Ultimate edition (priced at about USD 100) gets early access and its preload starts on September 17. Owners of this version will be able to play starting September 19.

• The standard edition (about USD 70) enters preload later, with the official release date set for September 26.
