Silent Hill 1 Remake Officially Enters Full Production at Bloober Team

The Silent Hill franchise has seen a major resurgence after years of dormancy. Following the release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake in 2024 and the launch of Silent Hill f earlier this year, fans now have another reason to celebrate: the remake of the original Silent Hill has officially entered full production.

Confirmation from Bloober Team

The update came during a Q&A session between investors and Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team. When asked about the studio’s current projects, Babieno confirmed that the Silent Hill 1 Remake has moved into the full production stage. This announcement follows months of speculation and leaks regarding the project’s status.

Multiple Projects in Development

The remake isn’t the only title Bloober Team is working on. According to Babieno, the studio also has a large-scale project in development, one that he claims rivals Silent Hill in scope, though details remain under wraps. Meanwhile, the studio’s “second-party” division is handling five separate projects—a sign of Bloober’s growth and stability as a developer capable of managing multiple productions at once.

What’s Next for Silent Hill 1 Remake

At this stage, no release date or launch window has been revealed for the remake. However, industry watchers expect new details to surface in 2026, giving fans a clearer idea of when to revisit the origins of the franchise.

For horror enthusiasts and longtime fans alike, the news signals a bright future for Silent Hill. With multiple projects in development and the revival of one of the most iconic survival-horror experiences ever created, Bloober Team seems committed to carrying the legacy of Silent Hill into a new generation.
