Developer Pearl Abyss has officially revealed the console performance details for Crimson Desert, outlining how the game will run across current-generation systems.
The announcement confirms multiple performance modes designed to balance graphical fidelity and frame rate depending on the platform.
PS5 and Xbox Series X Performance
On both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Crimson Desert will feature two main modes:
• Performance Mode:
Runs at 1080p resolution targeting 60 frames per second.
• Quality Mode:
Runs at upscaled 4K resolution from 1440p at 30 frames per second.
These modes allow players to prioritize either smoother gameplay or higher visual quality depending on their preference.
Xbox Series S Performance
On Xbox Series S, the game runs at lower resolutions due to hardware limitations.
• Performance Mode: 720p at 40 FPS
• Quality Mode: 1080p at 30 FPS
Ray tracing will be completely disabled on this console.
PS5 Pro Enhancements
