According to a report from MP1ST, the upcoming game may feature Faye and Tyr as central protagonists, with Kratos potentially appearing in a supporting or secondary role. This would mark a significant shift in narrative focus, moving away from Kratos as the sole lead character.

The leak also points to the introduction of unusual and unexpected companions, including a mysterious “gel cube” entity and a talking sword rumored to be connected to the legendary figure Merlin. These elements suggest a more experimental and mythologically diverse direction for the series.
