Lords of the Fallen II Officially Delayed to 2027 as Developers Focus on Polish and Player Feedback
CI Games has officially announced that Lords of the Fallen II will no longer launch in Fall 2026 as originally planned. Instead, the highly anticipated action RPG is now targeting a release window in the first quarter of 2027.
The announcement was made by Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games, who explained that the development team requires additional time to further improve and polish the game before release.
More Time for Refinement and Quality Improvements
According to the publisher, the delay is primarily aimed at ensuring the final product meets player expectations. The development team is currently reviewing community feedback and using it to refine gameplay systems, improve overall quality, and deliver a more polished experience at launch.
In recent years, delays have become increasingly common across the gaming industry, with many studios preferring additional development time over releasing a product that does not fully meet quality standards.
Building on the Success of the Previous Game
Lords of the Fallen II is expected to expand upon the foundations established by its predecessor, offering enhanced combat, improved exploration, and a larger dark fantasy world.
The extra development period could allow the team to address community concerns and introduce further improvements that strengthen the overall experience.
Arabic Language Support Confirmed
One of the most exciting details for players in the Middle East and North Africa is the confirmation that Lords of the Fallen II will include Arabic language support.
The growing number of major titles launching with Arabic localization reflects the increasing importance of Arabic-speaking audiences within the global gaming market.
While the delay may disappoint some fans hoping to play the game later this year, many players will likely welcome the decision if it results in a more polished and complete experience when the game finally launches in early 2027.
