Among the most notable details players noticed are references to teams such as Vice City Manatees and Vice City Narcos, names that appear to be linked to the city’s sporting identity, whether through shirts, clothing, or background details spread throughout the official images.

The presence of these teams does not necessarily mean that sports will be playable, but it clearly suggests that Rockstar is building a dedicated sports culture within Leonida and Vice City, similar to the way the series has always presented fictional brands, teams, and characters that resemble reality while carrying GTA’s exaggerated satirical tone.

It did not stop at clothing, as players also noticed a stadium that appears to be inspired by American basketball arenas, particularly the atmosphere of the real-life Miami Heat arena. Since Vice City is clearly inspired by Miami, the appearance of a large stadium like this is not surprising, but it adds another layer of detail to the game’s world.

What is more interesting is that Jason appears in one of the official images playing basketball, which led some players to believe that basketball may be an activity that can be played in GTA 6, rather than just a visual element in the background.

This idea is not entirely far from the series’ history. Previous GTA games have included many side activities away from the main story, such as tennis, golf, racing, yoga, bowling, darts, and other activities that helped make the world feel more alive.
