Battlefield 6 Season 1 Trailer Revealed — Launching October 28 with New Map, Mode, and Weapons

EA and DICE have officially unveiled the Season 1 trailer for Battlefield 6, confirming that the new content update will go live on October 28. The reveal promises major additions and gameplay enhancements that mark a strong start for the game’s post-launch roadmap.

The season, titled “Blackwell Fields,” introduces a brand-new map set across wide open farmlands and military installations — offering a blend of close-quarters firefights and large-scale tactical warfare.

In addition, players will get access to a new game mode called “Strikepoint”, which emphasizes coordinated team-based objectives and fast-paced encounters designed to reward strategic play.

Other highlights of the update include:

- The APC Traverser Mark 2, a new armored vehicle built for both transport and fire support.

- Three new weapons, expanding combat options for all playstyles.

  • New attachments and balancing tweaks to improve customization and weapon diversity.

According to DICE, Season 1 represents the foundation for an evolving live-service model, with ongoing content updates planned throughout the year — including new maps, missions, and cosmetic upgrades.

With this launch, Battlefield 6 aims to deliver the large-scale, adrenaline-fueled experience fans have been waiting for.
